Assam Rifles averted major fire incident in village Lamlongei, Mantripukhri, Imphal East District, Manipur on 24 September 2024.
A vigilant sentry on duty of Assam Rifles, Mantripukhri Garrison spotted a house opposite to Gate No. 1 of the garrison which had caught fire and immediately informed the Assam Rifles.
Due to the prompt response and swift action of the Assam Rifles fire fighting team, the fire was swiftly contained, preventing spread to nearby houses and shops.
The residents of Village Lamlongei expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles for their timely help and support.
