Assam Rifles conducted fogging operations in Hatta and Dewlahland, Imphal East District to aid in stopping spread of mosquito – borne diseases in areas are severely affected by dengue & malaria on 28 September 2024.
The Assam Rifles in a concerted effort to safeguard the health and well-being of local communities carried out a comprehensive fogging operation. Fogging has also been carried out in adjoining areas of Hatta and Dewlahland, Imphal East District. This proactive measure aims to curb the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as Malaria and Dengue, which pose a significant health risk.
