Assam Rifles conducted a cleanliness drive as part of the nationwide “Swacchta Hi Seva” campaign on 29 September 2024. The event was organized at Maibam Village located in Bishnupur district of Manipur.
The drive aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental sustainability, resonating with the ethos of the Swacch Bharat Mission. Local villagers and Assam Rifles Troops participated actively in the event, ensuring the cleaning of the surrounding areas, removing waste, and creating awareness about the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment.
