Assam Rifles organized a career counseling session for Class 10th and 12th students at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chandel District on 02 October 2024,providing valuable guidance to help students navigate their future career choices.
Led by an experienced officer from Assam Rifles, the session covered various career options, including opportunities in the armed forces, engineering, medicine, and vocational training. The event featured interactive discussions, presentations, and a Question & Answer session, allowing students to explore their interests and seek personalized advice on career paths.
The session emphasized informed decision-making and encouraged students to pursue their passions while aligning their skills with the diverse career opportunities available after secondary education.
ASSAM RIFLES FELICITATED AGNIVEERS SELECTED CANDIDATES IN CHURACHANDPUR
Assam rifles adhering strong to its credo of “Friends of North East people”, is continuously motivating and assisting local youths of remote villages of Manipur to join the armed forces through various schemes. With assidous and dedicated effort on this venture, Assam Rifles has successfully trained and motivated 63 youths to join the Indian Army through various schemes.
An eight weeks training capsule was provided at various locations in Churachandpur district for the aspirants hailing from humble backgrounds and remote villages. The program preparation for written tests and physical training.
Pursuing on this endeavour, Assam Rifles conducted a felicitation program for 32 successful candidates who were selected as Agniveer recruitment rally 2024 on 02 October 2024 at HQ Veng, Churachandpur District.
The selected candidates will join Indian Army training program in the second week of October at various locations across India.
ASSAM RIFLES COMMEMORATES GANDHI JAYANTI WITH STUDENTS IN MANIPUR
On 2nd October 2024, Assam Rifles observed the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Government High School, Khoibu, in Tengnoupal district, Manipur. The event promoted Gandhiji’s values of peace, harmony, and cleanliness, fostering a spirit of unity within the community.
The celebration featured a drawing competition, where students creatively expressed their thoughts on themes of peace and harmony. Their artistic talents highlighted the importance of these values today.
A total of 60 students, supported by 6 dedicated teachers, took part in the event, actively engaging in both the competition and a joint cleanliness drive.
