Indian Army’s Spear Corps organized the “Dibang Valley Trek” from 2nd October to 9th October 2024, at Anini Military Garrison. This exhilarating 08 day camp empowered 40 NCC cadets, including 20 girl cadets, in Arunachal Pradesh’s breathtaking Dibang Valley.
The camp featured an action-packed agenda, including a 10 Km trek, weapons display, camping in Chigupani, and a glimpse in army unit operations. Cadets engaged with local schools, civil administration and participated in sports, games, and a cleanliness drive, culminating in a campfire.
Interacting with soldiers, the cadets drew inspiration to join the Indian Army. This initiative underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to youth empowerment, leadership development, and building future military excellence.
