The Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 commenced at HQ CWE Tezpur with the taking of the Integrity Pledge by Ms Nazneen Banu (IDSE:2001), CWE along with all officers and staff of HQ CWE.
The week long awareness and outreach program planned around the theme aims to sensitize all employees as well as vendors & contractors about the need for transparency and integrity in public Governance.
About HQ CWE Tezpur : HQ CWE Tezpur raised on 29 October 1962 is the District HQ of Military Engineer Services based at Solmara Cantonment . The office is responsible for efficient technical administration of various GE Divisions under its AOR. Multiple GE divisions under AOR of CWE Tezpur cater to the planning & execution of Critical Infrastructure Development Projects & Maintenance services of various units of Armed Forces located at Assam and Arunachal region.
The office is strategically co-located with HQ 4 Corps and plays a pivotal role in efficient planning, execution and maintenance of OTM & Married Accommodations including provn and maintenance of Essential Utility Services for various Army Units located at HQ 4 Corps area Tezpur,155 Base Hospital, Bihuguri, Solmara Cantt, Charduar, Thakurbari, Amribari, Lokhra, Sonaipam, Bhalukpong, Harchura, Rangia, Tamulpur Changsari, Hattigarh, Darranga etc. HQ CWE Tezpur is also the parent CWE for 7 GE Divisions and
responsible for efficient administration of all matters related to the Industrial Establishments.
Ms. Nazneen Banu (IDSE:2001) is the first woman officer to be posted as CWE Tezpur.
