Assam Rifles hosted a friendly volleyball match between its troops and local youths at New Samtal village in Chandel District on 10 November 2024. This spirited event aimed to enhance sportsmanship and cooperation within the community.
The volleyball match brought together enthusiastic young players from the village, who showcased their skills and sportsmanship in an intense competition. The match was attended by 76 villagers, culminating in a victory for the New Samtal team. The event not only provided a platform for friendly rivalry but also served to strengthen the bonds between the Assam Rifles and the local community.
Following the match, a prize distribution ceremony was held to honour the participants for their exceptional performance and sportsmanship.
