Following its continued and comprehensive stride in contribution to nation building, overall development of Kathua District and Driving away youth from the precarious influence of drugs. The Rising Star Corps organised a friendly Volleyball game at Kathua Sports Stadium on 14 November 2024. The game was coordinated with villagers and youth club members. Teams from Barnoti, Channi and Janglote villages enthusiastically participated in the friendly competition, further solidifying the bond between the military and the local populace.The event also motivated the youth to stay away from drugs and choose healthy living and sports in their daily life. The presence of key community leaders and villagers added to the vibrancy of the competition fostering a sense of unity and mutual respect. Such initiatives underscore the Army’s commitment to not only safeguarding the nation but also nurturing positive relationships with the communities it serves.
