Suprabal Janasewashree General Ashok Raj Sigdel, COAS, Nepali Army, called on General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS. They discussed aspects of mutual interest and avenues to strengthen bilateral Defence Co-operation. As a gesture of goodwill to the Nepali Army, General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, presented a Target Practice Drone and Medical Equipment for establishment of Field Hospitals to General Ashok Raj Sigdel.
He was briefed on India’s security perspective in the region. He also engaged in high-level discussions with senior military leaders including Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, CNS and Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, CAS. The discussions focussed on ways to strengthen the military bonds between both the nations, reinforcing their shared commitment to global peace and security.
