A Journey of Inspiration: Pune Students Explore Arunachal’s Braveheart Legacy

 

 

As part of the Border Area Tourism Initiative,Tezpur based Gajraj Corps is facilitating an extraordinary 10-day educational tour for 24 mass communication students from Pune to the forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh, a land where history meets heroism and serene beauty blends with rich cultural diversity.

 

Set against the backdrop of Arunachal’s breathtaking landscapes, this journey offers a rare opportunity to experience the spirit of valour, tradition, and resilience up close. 

 

The students will explore iconic locations, gaining deep insights into the strategic significance of the region and the indomitable spirit of the Indian Armed Forces:

 

Tawang – A mesmerising town steeped in history and patriotism

 

Nyukmadung – A silent witness to resilience and strategic battles

 

Subedar Joginder and Jaswant Garh War Memorials – Honouring the immortal bravery of Subedar Joginder Singh and Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat

 

Holy Waterfalls & Holy Tree – Sacred symbols of Arunachal’s spiritual and cultural heritage

 

Bob Khating Museum – Explore legacy of Major Bob Khating towards integration of Tawang with the nation

 

Light & Sound Show at Tawang – A captivating tribute to the region’s rich history and military heroism

 

Beyond these awe-inspiring locations, the students will pay homage to the bravehearts at various war memorials, standing in solemn remembrance of the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

 

Through this once-in-a-lifetime experience, Gajraj Corps aims to foster national integration, ignite patriotism, and inspire the youth to become storytellers of India’s glorious past, resilient present, and promising future. As they traverse the pristine landscapes of Arunachal, they will discover not just the land’s unmatched beauty but also its cultural richness, diversity, and unwavering spirit.
