ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTS MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING FOR GIRLS

In an initiative aimed at nurturing self-reliance and empowering young women, Assam Rifles recently conducted a two-week martial arts training program for 15 girls in Molcham Village, located in the Khengjoi Sub-Division of Chandel District, Manipur.

The training focused on essential self-defense techniques and unarmed combat skills, equipping participants with the tools to protect themselves while also underlining physical fitness, mental discipline, and confidence. The initiative is a vital step toward promoting women’s safety and empowerment in remote and rural regions.

This program not only enhanced the self-defense abilities of the participants but also strengthened their sense of community and cultural identity.
