An Intelligence Bureau officer posted in Hyderabad was shot dead in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on Tuesday. The officer, Manish Ranjan, a native of Bihar, was on a Leave Travel Concession (LTC) visit with his family when the attack occurred. He was killed in front of his wife and children, according to preliminary information from sources in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
Manish Ranjan worked in the ministerial section of the Intelligence Bureau’s Hyderabad office for the last two years.
