Imposter arrested in Kolkata for cheating in the name of getting job in Indian Army

 

 

In a joint operation, Military Intelligence and Hastings police station arrested a man for cheating in the name of getting a job in Army.

 

The accused person is Mohammad Sajda.The main mastermind of this fraud ring is still at large, the local police said.

 

A resident of Uttar Pradesh named Amid and his friends met a man.They were told that a Major rank officer would be giving them several jobs in Army against quota. For that, appropriate documents and money would be required. The complainant and his friends were asked to meet at Maidan area in Kolkata.Then a man in Army uniform sitting in a car said that if he gave money, he would get a job. Later, seeing the uniform and the way he spoke, he believed the man and paid him about Rs.6 lakh. 

 

However, after giving this money, the complainant narrated the whole matter to an Army officer he knew. Then, after investigation, it was established that it was a fraud scheme. Then a complaint was lodged at Hastings police station. In the meantime, the accused said that he would not get the job unless he paid the balance amount. The police arrested a person in Hastings police station area after he lured him to give money. The accused, Mohammad Sajada, is a resident of Garden Reach. Although he was arrested, the real culprit is still at large. According to police sources, the accused is only a fraud. The police are searching for the other accused..
