ASSAM RIFLES RECOVERED NARCOTICS FROM KOIDE, SENAPATI DISTRICT

Assam Rifles, alongwith local Police, conducted a search operation in Koide in Senapati district as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking.

During the operation, 220 soap cases of brown sugar weighing about 2.2 kgs with an estimated value of Rs 4.4 crores was recovered. The operation also led to apprehension of two individuals suspected to be involved in illegal narcotics activities.

This successful joint operation reflects the steadfast commitment of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police in combating drug menace and maintaining peace and security in the region.

ASSAM RIFLES RECOVERS HEROIN NO. 4 NEAR TEIKHANG, SAITUAL MIZORAM

Based on specific intelligence regarding trafficking of narcotics, a mobile vehicle check post (MVCP) was established by Assam Rifles and representatives of Ngopa Police on the intervening night of 26–27 May 2025 in general area Teikhang, Saitual.

During the operation, two individuals on two Kenbo bikes were intercepted, which resulting in the recovery of 758 grams of Heroin No. 4, with an approximate market value Rupees Five Crore Thirty Lakh Sixty Thousand.

The seized contraband has been handed over to Ngopa Police Station for further investigation.
