Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Visits Indian Army Formations in Assam

Lieutenant General KT Parnaik, (Retd), Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, conducted a two-day visit to key Indian Army formations along the Assam border from June 11–13, 2025.

During the visit, the Governor engaged in productive discussions with Lieutenant General Gambhir Singh, GOC, Gajraj Corps and senior commanders at Red Horns Division, Blazing Sword Division, and Gajraj Corps. The talks focused on nation-building, border area development, veteran welfare and the integration of cutting-edge technologies to enhance adaptive training and individual skill sets.

At the Gajraj War Memorial, the Governor paid tributes to the fallen heroes and lauded the dedication of all ranks for their unwavering commitment to national security and peace in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
