Justice Ashutosh Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court. Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered him the oath of office at a solemn function held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra International Auditorium today in presence of the Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Advocate General Assam Devajit Saikia, Judges of Gauhati High Court, members from legal fraternity, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Assam Dr.Ravi Kota, DGP Harmeet Singh, Special Chief Secretary Syedin Abbasi and other senior officials of the State govt.
