As a precursor to Independence Day and in celebration of the success of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Navy Band from INS Chilka captivated the audience on August 12 2025 at KIIT Campus auditorium, Bhubaneswar with patriotic melodies.
The concert honoured the courage, unwavering commitment and valour of the Indian Armed Forces to safeguard the nation’s borders and maritime frontiers.
The evening was graced by Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Odisha as Chief Guest. The audience included dignitaries from the state, veterans and families, NCC cadets, school and college students. The musical performance enthralled the audience and evoked a profound sense of unity, pride, and gratitude for the sacrifices made by the countless heroes in the service of the country.
As the final notes faded, the hall resounded with sustained applause. The event culminated with the felicitation of the Naval band by the Chief Guest.
