In a proud moment for Eastern Railway, two Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel— Shyamalendu Bhushan Chanda, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Sealdah Division, and Amit Kumar Malick, Head Constable, Asansol Division—have been awarded with the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) on the occasion of Independence Day 2025.
