Maj Gen APS Chahal, SM, Additional Director General, West Bengal & Sikkim NCC Directorate, inaugurated the Drone Training School at the NCC Air Training Institute (NATIns), Behala Airfield.
Air Wing cadets showcased their drone flying skills and innovative projects, reflecting the spirit of creativity and technological empowerment among youth.
He emphasized the importance of safety in all flying operations, be it Microlite Virus SW‑80 aircraft or drones. He interacted with cadets currently undergoing drone training and commended their enthusiasm and commitment. He also took stock of preparations for the first ever Drone Competition in NCC history, scheduled during the upcoming All India Vayu Sainik Camp 2025.
He extended his best wishes to all participants of the training capsule and reaffirmed NCC’s role in shaping the future leaders of a progressive and self reliant India.
