Swift Response by Indian Army Saves Lives

A fire broke out today at the Boys Hostel of Govt Residential School, Papikrong, district Shi yomi, Arunachal Pradesh in the early hours trapping 35 students. A call was made to the Army authorities in times of crisis. Meanwhile as fire grew in proportion and school authorities alongwith the local residents rescued the students while informing the nearby Army post.

Realising the gravity of the situation, Army personnel with a Medical team immediately swung into action.the fire was contained, precious civilian lives saved and injured students were administered first aid and evacuated to General Hospital Aalo for further treatment.
Sadly, one student succumbed to his injuries. Indian Army offers heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
The swift and timely action by the Indian Army stands as a testament to its unwavering commitment towards the safety and welfare of local communities.
