Brig Ashish Hooda, SM, Station Commander, Barrackpore Military Station inaugurated a new Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic at Arambagh, Hooghly district on 30 Aug 2025 as part of expansion of Armed Forces Health Care Scheme for its Ex-servicemen.
This Polyclinic will provide all basic health care requirements to around 8000 Ex-servicemen and their dependents settled in Hooghly district and fulfils a long felt critical requirement for the Ex-servicemen. The successful establishment of this ECHS Polyclinic at Arambagh, Hooghly district marks a significant milestone in ensuring accessible and quality health care for Ex-servicemen and their dependents residing in the region.
The Polyclinic will provide all basic facilities including General OPD, Medical OPD, Dental OPD, Physiotherapy and basic Laboratory Services and has been equipped with modern state of the art equipment.
