In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers during this forthcoming festive season, it has been decided to run three pairs of festive special trains over Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) to certain destinations. Among these special trains- train No. 04195/04196 (Agra Cantt. – Jogbani – Agra Cantt.) will run from 12th September to 29th November, 2025 for 11 trips from both directions. Train No. 05978/05977 (Dibrugarh – Gorakhpur-Dibrugarh) will run from 17th September to 6th November, 2025, for 07 trips from both directions and train No. 05736/05735 (Katihar – Amritsar – Katihar) will run from 17th September to 7th November, 2025 for 7 trips from both directions
Accordingly, train No. 04195 (Agra Cantt. – Jogbani) special will depart from Agra Cantonment on every Friday at 05:00 hours (except 26.09.25), to reach Jogbani at 18:45 hours on Saturday. In return direction, train No. 04196 (Jogbani – Agra Cantt.) special will depart from Jogbani on every Saturday at 21:00 hours (except 27.09.25), to reach Agra Cantonment at 07:10 hours on Monday.
Train No. 05978 (Dibrugarh – Gorakhpur) special will depart from Dibrugarh on every Wednesday at 09:10 hours (except 24.09.25), to reach Gorakhpur at 19:00 hours on the next day. In return direction, train No. 05977 (Gorakhpur-Dibrugarh) special will depart from Gorakhpur on every Thursday at 21:30 hours (except 25.09.25), to reach Dibrugarh at 10:30 hours on Saturday.
Train No. 05736 (Katihar – Amritsar) special train will depart from Katihar every Wednesday at 21:00 hours (except 24.09.25), to reach Amritsar at 09:45 hours on Friday. In return direction, train No. 05735 (Amritsar – Katihar) special train will depart from Amritsar every Friday at 13:25 hours (except 26.09.25), to reach Katihar at 23:45 hours on Saturday.
