On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the Local Military Authorities under SpearCorps organised an Inter-School Group Song Competition at Government Higher Secondary School, Menchuka.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools in Menchuka valley.
Each performance was filled with emotion and sincerity, reflecting the deep respect children hold for their educators. Teachers and parents present at the event appreciated the Army’s efforts to encourage such meaningful activities that blend cultural expression with values of respect and gratitude.
Speaking on the occasion, the Local Military Authorities highlighted that the celebration of Teachers’ Day is not only about paying tribute to educators but also about inspiring the younger generation to understand the importance of discipline, dedication, and learning. They emphasised that teachers are the guiding light of society, and their role as nation-builders is irreplaceable.
The event also underlined the strong civil–military bond in Menchuka. The Army has been consistently engaging in youth-centric initiatives under Operation Sadbhavna, aimed at empowering the local population through education, cultural activities, and infrastructure support.
