In a vibrant celebration of Universal Brotherhood Day, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) School, Anini, in collaboration with the soldiers of the esteemed Spear Corps, organized a special event to instill the timeless message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam— “The World is One Family”. This initiative aims to promote unity in diversity, strengthen civil-military relations and inspire the youth to embrace values of national integration and patriotism.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from school students, teachers and military personnel coming together in a spirit of camaraderie and collective responsibility. Through thought-provoking speeches, interactive sessions and cultural performances, students were sensitized to the significance of Universal Brotherhood as propounded by Swami Vivekananda during the historic Chicago Religious Conference. The underlying theme highlighted that irrespective of cultural, religious or geographical differences, humanity belongs to a single global family.
People shared their experiences, emphasizing the role of discipline, dedication and service towards the nation. They also encouraged students to consider careers in the armed forces, nurturing a sense of duty, patriotism and resilience among the younger generation.
