84 SW cadets trained by 2 Raj Rif at Barrackpore Military Station

Barrackpore Cantonment as India’s oldest cantonment, situated in West Bengal north of Kolkata, on the banks of the Hooghly River. It’s a site of significant historical events, including the 1824 Mutiny led by Sepoy Bindee Tiwaree and the prelude to the Indian Rebellion of 1857, marked by Mangal Pandey’s actions. The cantonment offers so many historical attractions.

84 SW cadets of NCC Group HQ Kalyani underwent intensive training in physical conditioning, weapon handling, drone ops, fieldcraft & leadership under the mentorship of the Theatre & Battle Honour Battalion, “King of Tololing” , 2 RAJ RiIF during the Infantry Attachment Camp at Barrackpore Cantonment.

This unique experience bridged classroom learning with real soldiering, sharpening discipline, teamwork & operational skills. The cadets returned inspired, stronger & better prepared for service to the nation.
