East Tech 2025 showcased Eastern Command’s steadfast focus on operational readiness

Presence of Union Defence Minister of State Sanjay Seth, Lt Gen YS Ahlawat, GOC, Brahmastra Corps and enthusiastic turnout of over 1,500 attendees marked the second day of EastTech 2025, featuring a diverse mix of participants – from the Indian Army, academia, schools, NCC, police, state officials and tech industry leaders.

The second day was packed with impactful seminars, Back to Back meetings, cutting-edge technology demonstrations and vibrant industry interactions. Innovations on display ranged from AI and counter-drone technologies to robotics, tactical mobility, and survivability systems – all underscoring the rising momentum of indigenisation, with MSMEs taking center stage.

Dynamic exhibits showcased the Eastern Command’s steadfast focus on operational readiness, driven by innovation and robust industry-military collaboration.

The well-received conclave continues to build meaningful partnerships, advancing the national vision of Atmanirbharta and laying the groundwork for sustainable regional development.

The extremely successful event reflected India’s growing Synergy between innovation, indigenous capability and a vision for national defence.

The Closing Ceremony of the event was graced by Sanjay Seth and Mr Justice Ananda Sen, High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Lt Gen YS Ahlawat, GOC, BrahmastraCorps, DG SIDM & Past Chairman ,CII, delivered the Vote of Thanks, followed by closing remarks from the Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri who complimented the Eastern Command for a flawless conduct of the mega symposium.

Over three impactful days, the event fostered strategic partnerships, showcased indigenous R&D and reinforced key enablers of Atmanirbhar Bharat – marking a major step toward a future-ready, self-reliant defence ecosystem.

The thrilling closing ceremony featured Chhau & Paika dances, energetic Bhangra and a majestic performance by the Military Brass Band. It also showcased breathtaking Army Adventure Wing displays – hot air ballooning, microlight flying and combat free fall.
