He urged the local communities to work together and spread awareness and sense of responsibility towards cleanliness, preservation of heritage and culture while mentioning Shergoan as a model for success in tourism sector.
concerning over upgradation of the tourism sector in the district, he urged all the stakeholders and participants to collectively prepare policies for all round development of tourism in the region.he also emphasized on preservation of natural heritage,flaura and fauna and traditional structure.
DC West kameng Akriti Sagar highlighted West kameng’s significant potential for growth in the tourism sector and appealed for support and cooperation from all stakeholders,owners of homestays,tour operators,Hotels to enhance development of tourism in the District.
She also highlighted the importance of plastic waste management,responsible tourism practices, cleanliness awareness and more.
