3rd Prime Minister’s Youth Camp Begins in Tawang today

The 3rd PM Youth Camp was inaugurated in the high Himalayas of Tawang, organised by the Tawang Brigade of the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Education Department. More than 250 participants, including NCC cadets, Scouts & Guides, NSS volunteers and budding sportspersons from schools & colleges across Arunachal Pradesh have joined this inspiring initiative.

The camp, first conceived under the vision of PM Narendra Modi to connect the youth with the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh, was earlier held in Menchuka (2023) and Walong (2024).

During the camp, students will get an opportunity to explore the rich culture & traditions of Tawang, participate in cultural activities and visit forward Army locations. They will also witness the challenging life of Indian soldiers guarding the nation’s frontiers at extreme altitudes.

The Indian Army, playing a pivotal role, is not only hosting but also mentoring the youth, instilling in them values of discipline, patriotism & resilience.

The aim of this camp is to foster National Integration, strengthen the bond between the youth & Armed Forces and inspire them to be torchbearers of a united India.
