NCC Cadets in West Bengal & Sikkim showcased exemplary service during Durga puja

During Durga Puja 2025, NCC Cadets of West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate showcased exemplary Selfless Service and Discipline by assisting the elderly, women, Divyangs, and accident victims across the state. Cadets from various colleges actively supported civil authorities in crowd management and traffic control, ensuring smooth festive proceedings.Their unwavering commitment, coordination, and Sense Of Responsibility highlighted the true spirit of NCC and its role in Nation Building.

Contribution of NCC in Bengal & Sikkim:

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate contributes to youth development by training cadets in discipline, character, and leadership for selfless national service, while also engaging them in social welfare programs, disaster relief, and community outreach through activities like cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, and support during festivals.

The Directorate runs a robust training structure across numerous schools and colleges in both states, preparing selected cadets for national-level events like the Republic Day Camp in Delhi.

The Directorate conducts Inter Group competitions to select and prepare the best cadets for participation in the prestigious Republic Day Camp in Delhi, a significant national event.
