In a heartfelt initiative to bridge the healthcare gap in Manipur, a three-day mega medical camp is being organized from 05 to 07 October 2025 across nine locations in the state. Assam Rifles, in close coordination with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), will conduct a three-day mega medical camp aimed at bringing expert care to communities most in need — especially internally displaced persons and residents of remote districts.
The outreach will span nine locations across both valley and hill regions, with medical teams deployed to Lilong, Moreh, Chakpikarong and Sajik on 5th October, Tuibong, Pallel and Joupi on 6th October, and Kangpokpi, Hiangtem Lamka and Sugnu on 7th October. Each site has been thoughtfully selected to ensure meaningful access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.
A total of 31 medical professionals, including 23 specialist doctors and 8 associates, will arrive in Manipur between 04 and 08 October. Their mission is to offer free consultations, screenings, and treatments tailored to the unique health needs of each community. To ensure smooth execution and focused outreach, the doctors have been organized into three specialized teams, each covering designated locations with precision and care.
Specialists participating in the camp include experts in MD Medicine, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Paediatrics, ENT, Physiology, General Medicine, and Dentistry. This diverse medical lineup ensures that residents across Manipur will receive targeted, high-quality care during the three-day outreach.
This initiative reflects the enduring commitment of Assam Rifles and the Indian Medical Association to safeguard the health and dignity of Manipur’s people. By bringing quality medical services directly to underserved areas, the camp not only addresses urgent healthcare needs but also fosters goodwill and unity across communities. Local residents are encouraged to attend and make the most of this opportunity for free, expert care.
