A Commanding Officers Conclave was organised by WB & Sikkim Directorate at NCC Training Institute Kolkata on October 4, 2025. The Commanding officers shared their experiences in NCC, the Best Practices followed, thought provoking and innovative methods of institutional training and Camps, challenges, recommendations and way ahead .
The ADG emphasised that Commanding Officers remain the Cutting Edge of NCC and we all must adopt a ‘Cadet Centric Approach’ and ensure that all our efforts are channelised towards the training, growth and development of cadets. He also reiterated the focus areas to include training of trainers, Building up of training infrastructure and training assets, safety and security of cadets, innovative conduct NCC Camps reinforcing military like training and instilling Unity and discipline in cadets.
During the Open House, the Commanding Officers frankly shared their experiences, challenges and came up with valuable ideas and suggestions.
