ASSAM RIFLES NATIONAL INTEGRATION TOUR STUDENTS INTERACT WITH PRESIDENT OF INDIA AND PAY TRIBUTE TO THE NATION’S FALLEN HEROES

As part of the ongoing National Integration Tour (NIT) organised by Assam Rifles for students of Berean Baptist Academy, Noney under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme, the participants had the rare honour of interacting with the President of India and visiting national monuments of great historical and patriotic significance yesterday.

The day’s programme commenced at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the students were accorded the privilege of an interaction with the President of India. The interaction proved to be a momentous occasion, inspiring the young minds with words of encouragement, wisdom and vision for their role in the future of the nation. The students were also taken on a guided tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, gaining insights into its architectural grandeur, rich heritage and the nation’s highest office of leadership.

Following this, the participants visited India Gate, an iconic national symbol dedicated to the memory of soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the motherland. The visit provided the students with a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces in safeguarding the sovereignty of the nation.

The final part of the day included a solemn visit to the National War Memorial, where the students paid homage to the fallen heroes of the Armed Forces. The eternal flame and poignant stories of gallantry instilled a sense of patriotism, reverence and responsibility among the young participants.

The exposure gave the students a unique blend of inspiration from the nation’s highest leadership and a solemn understanding of the sacrifices that form the foundation of India’s unity and strength.

Assam Rifles continues to remain committed to nurturing young minds and fostering national integration, instilling pride, responsibility and unity among the youth of the North East.
