Sikkim is gearing up to showcase its rich tourism potential as the state capital prepares to host the 13th International Tourism Mart (ITM) from November 13 to 16, 2025. The four-day event will bring together delegates from all Northeastern states and 18 countries, positioning Sikkim as an emerging hub for sustainable and high-altitude tourism.
The ITM is being organised by the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Sikkim, in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Tourism.
The event will see participation from Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, tourism ministers of all Northeastern states, and nearly 300 international delegates representing the global travel and hospitality sector.
According to the Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, preparations are in full swing to ensure a successful and impactful event that will further strengthen Sikkim’s tourism profile on both national and international platforms.
