On the occasion of the 63rd Walong Day,a significant annual event commemorating the historic 1962 Battle of Walong, a comprehensive Medical and Dental Camp was successfully organized at Government Secondary School, Walong. This vital initiative formed part of the welfare activities dedicated to extending essential healthcare services to the local populace in this remote region.
The healthcare outreach program received overwhelming participation from the community. Medical and dental professionals worked collaboratively to ensure the seamless delivery of care, resulting in a total of 124 beneficiaries.
The medical section provided general consultations and treatment to 87 individuals, distributed as 26 male, 33 female and 28 children. Concurrently, the dental team successfully treated 37 patients, addressing various oral health needs for 7 male, 16 female and 14 children.
The entire event was conducted in a meticulously organized and efficient manner, characterized by active participation and cooperation from the local residents. The initiative was met with universal praise, garnering overwhelming appreciation and positive feedback from all attendees, underscoring the ongoing commitment to the holistic well-being and welfare of the people of Walong.
