Today, the West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate marked the 78th NCC Raising Day with boundless energy across all six Groups viz Kolkata-B, Kolkata-C, Kalyani, Kharagpur, Burdwan and Darjeeling. Thousands of cadets turned the day into a living tribute to duty, unity and selfless service.
Cadets everywhere led massive tree plantation drives and organised blood donation camps. Kolkata-C Group proudly held its blood donation camp at Command Hospital, Kolkata, while in Burdwan Group cadets from Purulia and Suri planted more than 1600 saplings and saw 85 young heroes donate blood. From the misty hills of Darjeeling to the vibrant plains of Kharagpur, every unit echoed with NCC songs, cultural performances and the quiet power of giving back.
This was NCC at its finest, planting hope for tomorrow and giving life today. Immensely proud of our cadets for making the 78th Raising Day a celebration of a greener, kinder and stronger Bharat!
