As part of Op Sadhbhavna, the Indian Army organised a comprehensive Medical and Dental Health Camp at the General Ground, Mechuka on 30 November 2025, aimed at promoting Health & Hygiene for all in the remote frontier region.
The camp saw an encouraging turnout from the local community with 95 civilians and 37 children availing the medical facilities. Army medical teams conducted detailed health check-ups, dental examinations, disease screening and essential consultations to ensure accessible, quality healthcare for the residents of Mechuka valley.
The initiative also focused on creating awareness about dental hygiene, preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices, empowering the local populace with vital information for long-term wellbeing.
The Indian Army remains committed to supporting border communities through sustained outreach efforts and citizen-centric welfare initiatives under Op Sadhbhavna.
