The “Sikkim – the Silk Route Drive,” held under the theme Reviving the Ancient Route, continues to make significant progress as it traces the historic pathways that once connected traders, cultures, and civilizations. Featuring 17 high-performance supercars, the rally reached Gnathang Valley and Dzaluk, marking a major milestone in its journey through the legendary Silk Route and aiming at promoting tourism, celebrating heritage, and showcasing the enchanting landscapes of East Sikkim.
Overcoming challenging terrain, steep ascents, and rapidly changing weather, the drivers showcased exceptional endurance and skill. The event also highlights the capabilities of modern performance vehicles in high-altitude environments.
Participants were welcomed by Army personnel and local representatives stationed in the area.
