Inspector General Iqbal Singh Chauhan, TM, Commander Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North East) reviewed Operational readiness, Administrative and Infrastructural assets of strategically significant Indian Coast Guard District Headquarters Paradip and preparedness of units based at Paradip recently.
The Flag Officer also reviewed frontline ICG ships at sea evaluating mission capability, threat response efficiency and crew performance. The Flag Officer commended unit personnel for their steadfast dedication, professionalism, ongoing Infrastructure improvements. He also appreciated flawless coordination with partner agencies and exceptional performance in SAR, MEDEVAC and Pollution Response across the AoR. The unit personnel exude high level of motivation and dedication towards duties.
The Flag Officer emphasised the need to accelerate Infrastructural developments to enhance Operational capability in the AoR and improve habitability at the forward Operating bases.
