Maj Gen Rajesh A Moghe today handed over the command of the Bengal Sub Area to Maj Gen D K Singh, a highly experienced officer with an illustrious career in the Indian Army. Maj Gen Rajesh A Moghe is superannuating after rendering 37 years of distinguished and dedicated service to the nation. During his long and exemplary career, he held several important command and staff appointments and contributed significantly to operational preparedness, training, and welfare of troops.
Lt Gen R C Tiwari, Army Commander Eastern Command, congratulated Maj Gen Rajesh A Moghe for his exemplary service and outstanding contributions to the Indian Army, and conveyed his best wishes for a fulfilling post-retirement life. The Army Commander also extended his congratulations to Maj Gen D K Singh on assuming command of the Bengal Sub Area and expressed confidence in his leadership and professional acumen.
