GAME AND THREAT CANNOT GO TOGETHER

Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman will not be a part of IPL 2026. Following the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, the BCCI has instructed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to release Mustafizur Rahman. KKR had bought him for ₹9.20 crore in the IPL 2026 auction.BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that they have instructed Kolkata Knight Riders to release Mustafizur Rahman from their squad for IPL 2026, and KKR will be allowed to name a replacement player if required. KKR has also confirmed the exclusion of Mustafizur Rahman from their squad after BCCI directive.

I have lot of Journalist friends in Bangladesh who are nice and sensible people and they believe in healthy relation with India, but when I posted a relevant post regarding this issue, some Bangladeshis were offended. They messaged me too.

Anyway, now I want to post for them a few simple lines. When a large section of your countrymen show hatred towards Indians, when some Bangladeshis are unfortunately spreading objectionable comments in social media that India is a terrorist country, what else do you guys expect from us?

YOU SHOULD REALISE THAT CRICKET AND THREAT CANNOT GO TOGETHER and
creation of Bangladesh itself wouldn’t have been possible at all without support of Indian Armed Forces and Govt.of India. We lost thousands of our soldiers during Bangladesh Liberation War, but we wonder how now a days a large section of Bangladeshis are threatening us..What a joke!
How could they forget Indian soldiers’ sacrifices and be so ungrateful?
I feel this right decision of BCCI can’t be questioned.

As regards Shah Rukh Khan, he is just a businessman and every one knows how the three Bollywood Khans behaved during Pahalgam terror attack and they were silent even after Operation Sindoor !

After a Bangladeshi player was removed from the IPL , Bangladesh has now directed its Cricket Board to request the ICC to shift T20 World Cup matches from India to Sri Lanka. Will it really be a wise decision?

Dear Bangladeshi friends, if you really want to take such a rigid stand against India, please go ahead, but before that ask the people of your country, illegally living in India to immediately wrap up and leave for their own country.
