Lt. Gen Gambhir Singh, Corps Commander of Gajraj Corps, visited the Ball of Fire Division in Arunachal Pradesh to assess the operational preparedness of the formation.
During the visit, the Corps Commander reviewed the formation’s operational readiness and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening combat capability in high-altitude and border areas.He expressed satisfaction with the state of preparedness and the professionalism displayed by all ranks.
Lt Gen Gambhir Singh also dedicated a Community Radio Station at Bomdila. The station is envisioned as a grassroots communication platform to share local news, promote regional culture, and disseminate educational and health-related information. It will also serve as an important medium for broadcasting vital public interest messages, reinforcing the Army’s outreach efforts in remote and border regions.
The Corps Commander lauded the troops for their dedication, high morale, and unwavering commitment to duty. He commended the formation’s sustained efforts towards enhancing combat readiness and achieving operational excellence.
