Son of a Farmer’s Family, Ambarish Mallick Nominated for “Jubo Darpan Excellent Awards 2026”

Ambarish Mallick, a young social worker from Bijni in Chirang district and the son of a simple farmer’s family, has been nominated for the prestigious “Jubo Darpan Excellent Awards 2026” in recognition of his remarkable contributions to social service and community welfare.

The grand award ceremony will be held on 31st May 2026 from 4:30 PM onwards at Lohia Lions Gauhati Auditorium, Chatribari, Guwahati. The event is being organized by Jubo Darpan in association with Netaji Chatra Yuba Sangstha, Silchar, where distinguished personalities from various fields across Assam will be honored for their outstanding achievements and social contributions.

From a young age, Ambarish Mallick had a strong desire to work for society, especially for the Bengali community of Bijni and Assam. His journey in social service formally began in 2017 when he joined the Bijni Regional Committee of Bangali Parishad Assam. Since then, he has continuously worked for the welfare of common people in the region.

Through his dedication to helping poor and underprivileged families, spreading awareness about government schemes, and participating in educational and social welfare activities, he gradually earned the trust and respect of the people. After serving society tirelessly for nearly five years, he was entrusted with the important responsibility of District Secretary of Chirang District during a district session of Bangali Parishad Assam.

Inspired by the ideals of Shantanu Kumar Sanyal, State President of Bangali Parishad Assam, and advisor as well as MLA Shiladitya Dev, Ambarish Mallick continues to work actively for social harmony and community development.

Apart from social work, he is also actively associated with cultural activities. He regularly participates in organizing events such as Rabindra Jayanti, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti, and several other social and cultural programs across different areas of Chirang district.

Despite coming from an ordinary farmer’s family, Ambarish Mallick has emerged as a respected and inspiring figure through his honesty, dedication, and humanitarian efforts.
