Indian boxing star Lovlina Borgohain turned her birthday into a day to remember, winning the gold medal in the women’s 75kg category at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Born in Assam, Lovlina has once again placed the state and the country in the spotlight. And on her birthday, she delivered a gift that will remain memorable in Indian sporting histor
A birthday, a final, a golden punch—and a historic moment for Indian boxing.
