Sikkim Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana Benefits Being Distributed to 32,000 Aama’s Today.
Benefits under the Sikkim Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana are being distributed to 32,000 Aamas across all 31 constituencies and the Sangha constituency today, with cheques being handed over by the respective Area MLAs.
Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, in a social media post, said the distribution was another step towards strengthening and empowering Aamas.
He said the initiative reflects the government’s resolve to uphold the dignity and empowerment of mothers.
The Chief Minister described Aamas as the “true pillars” of every Sikkimese family and said that empowering mothers would contribute to stronger families and communities. He also extended his congratulations and best wishes to all the beneficiaries, wishing them greater confidence, dignity and opportunity.
