The Meghalaya Government has determined to impose a Total Lockdown in East Khasi Hills from eight PM of 19th May 2021 as much as 5:00 AM of thirty first May 2021.
Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma informed it on Twitter, ” Govt. has decided to impose Total Lockdown in #EastKhasiHills from 8 PM of 19th May 2021 up to 5:00 AM of 31st May 2021. DC will work with @MeghalayaPolice to ensure that the lockdown is effectively imposed & also ensure essential commodities are available during the period.”
CM Sangma additionally informed DC of East Khashi Hills that will work with Meghalaya Police to ensure that the lockdown is effectively imposed and additionally ensure essential commodities are available throughout the length.
The vaccination drive will continue during the lockdown.
