Among the fresh cases, 104 cases highest were reported from Kamrup.
Over 73 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Assam so far.
The country recorded 1,15,736 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday morning.
