Rashtriya Lok Dal chief and former central minister Ajit Singh has died due to COVID-19. He was 82.
Ajit Singh was tested positive for COVID-19 on April 20.
PM Narendra Modi also condoled the demise
Ajit Singh was the son of the former Prime Minister of India late Chaudhary Charan Singh.
He was Minister of Industry in V. P. Singh‘s cabinet from December 1989 to November 1990 , Minister of Food in P. V. Narasimha Rao‘s cabinet and also served as Minister of Agriculture in Atal Bihari Vajpayee‘s government.
