Academician Dr. Jayati Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor of Bengali at Women’s College, Silchar who breathed her last on the 6th of May.
She was admitted to Covid ICU.
Apart from being a college teacher, she was also involved in different cultural activities and was a compere with Silchar Doordarshan Kendra for some of their programmes.
