Outgoing CM of Assam Sarbananada Sonowal submits resignation to Governor Jagdish Mukhi at the Raj Bhavan Guwahati today.
It is still not confirmed who will become the next chief minister of Assam.
Under his leadership, Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA won 75 seats in last assembly election which was held on last April.
