Central Government has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board exams.
The decision was taken after a key meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi with officials and cabinet ministers.
PM Narendra Modi tweet,” Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth.”
The Prime Minister said that the decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams has been taken in the interest of students.
The PM also thanked the states for providing feedback on this issue.
Delhi CM welcome this decision. Kejriwal wrote on Twitter,” I am glad 12th exams have been cancelled. All of us were very worried abt the health of our children. A big relief.”
